DCI invites you to take a look at what a historic home from the early part of the last century can look like with a contemporary restoration. We have the most popular selections of luxury vinyl as well as a large selection of flooring tile to choose from. We have a complete selection of sheet tile examples as well for all of your flooring, backsplash, and accent tile needs. We also have cabinetry samples of our most popular cabinet brands from Diamond, Jarlin, and Wolf including a complete kitchen layout. Schluter has provided a fantastic display and examples of the water-proofing systems we use in our shower renovations. Full Home Renovation in St. Petersburg
DCI Home Improvements has once again come through on a beautiful renovation at a home in St. Petersburg on the intercoastal. Our clients had just purchased this home from out of state and wanted to make it their own before moving in. We worked mostly remotely with the client on everything from cabinetry to tile to provide the home of their dreams. We started this project with opening up the living room to the lanai area. At some point in this home’s history, someone had already incorporated the living space into the lanai but they left all of the structural supports from the former home’s rear outside wall. We installed a structural beam to open the entire home to the beautiful water view. From there, we went to work on the kitchen and both bathrooms in the home. The kitchen originally was closed off to the rest of the home with walls that obstructed the view. Our crew made quick work of these by removing them as well as the drop ceiling. We installed a mid-century style of kitchen cabinet provided by Palm Harbor Cabinets. The final kitchen design looks amazing! The bathrooms both were refreshed, new Schluter water proof shower membranes, new tile, cabinets, fixtures, and flooring to finish them off. Kitchen Renovation on Dunedin Causeway
We recently were fortunate enough to meet a wonderful client that lives on Dunedin Causeway. They live in a condominium that probably dates back to the 1970’s and it was in dire need of a renovation. We talked to the client and understood what their wants and needs were for the new space and came up with a plan that in the end turned out fabulous. We started by removing some of the intrusive walls that kept the kitchen ‘closed-in’. Added some beautiful cabinetry from Designer’s Choice cabinets that were provided by our friends at Palm Harbor Cabinets. Finished off with tile backsplash and LVP flooring throughout the home courtesy of Pro Source of Port Richey. The client was over the moon with the finished product and will enjoy many years of cooking and entertaining in their new space.

Bathroom Renovation In Port Richey - Westport
With the influx of construction in west Pasco during the late 60’s and 70’s, we saw a plethora of 2 and 3 bedroom homes being constructed with little or no attention paid to the existing bathrooms and kitchens in the homes. Homes on the water were no exception. Typically they were built to just be a functional space, but rarely did they ever accomplish this. We had the opportunity to renovate a gentleman’s master bathroom in the Westport area of Port Richey. It was a story that started off with the client having a tale of an unscrupulous contractor that he hired to perform his renovation project and things took a turn and lets just say they didn’t pan out. The client approached us to see what we could do. We never had the opportunity to see the bathroom in its original state as the tear out had already been taken care of, somewhat, by the previous contractor. We listened to what the client wanted to do with the space and devised a plan. We enlarged the shower area, adding specialty items like a wall niche, heated mirror, rain head shower, and of course a custom glass enclosure. To the main portion of the bathroom we were able to add a larger vanity with waterfall faucet, large framed mirror, and new lighting. New floor tile, wall tile, and accessories rounded out this build.

Bathroom Renovation in Trinity
Take a look at the latest home renovation that we had the pleasure of performing for a client in Trinity. This was a full master bathroom remodel, guest bathroom remodel, and a laundry room. The existing bathroom and laundry room were the typical early 2000’s era décor that you would expect in the area. The client came to us with a list of things that they wanted to accomplish in the various spaces. The master bathroom features new cabinetry with custom elements provided by Palm Harbor Cabinets. A free standing bathtub. New frameless glass shower. Custom tile that was provided by Pro Source Port Richey. New lighting and wainscoting finish off the look. In the master bathroom, we took the same steps and updated all of the tile, cabinetry, lighting, and trim as well. The laundry room was finished off with new cabinets, shelving, and custom tile work to give the space a dramatic feel.
